iPad: Disable Camera Auto-Focus




Article Goal - Illustrate how-to disable the Camera Auto-Focus on an iPad

Disable Auto-Focus

1. Select(tap) the Camera App
2. Center the camera on the item/person you would like to display
3. Press and hold your finger down in the middle of the camera display
4. A yellow box will appear with an 'AE/AF Lock' notification at the top of the screen
5. Auto-Focus is now temporarily disabled 
6. Tap the screen again to re-enable auto-focus
